Spartan Race World Championship - Lake Tahoe

Championship season has begun. This year I will only be racing the Spartan Race World Championship.

I started this season in the best shape of my life. I had prepared my body, and mind to endure the NJ Ultra Beast, no matter what obstacle I had to overcome.

The last few months have been a little rough in the fitness arena, but I have learned far more than I expected. It has been a whirlwind of a year, and some goals have shifted over time. There is one thing that I never pushed aside, after the struggle I went through last year. I hated the race, post swim, as my body was shutting itself down internally. So I set out with a purpose to train my body over the last year so the results would not be repeated

Spartan Race NBC Championship Series Palmerton Super

NBC Championship Series Spartan Race number 3, the Palmerton Super, aka Blue Mountain Challenge. The first of two that I will complete with the second one being the West Virginia Beast at the end of August. As I stood in the starting coral, I told myself today is a run, not a race. I would get to know the course, and give a solid effort, but I knew I was not 100% healthy and wanted to be able to complete the Sprint the next day.

Spartan Race New Jersey Ultra Beast

The Reebok Spartan Race returns to New Jersey. Also known as the Tri-State Beast & Ultra weekend at Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon is one of the most anticipated races each year by ocr and endurance enthusiasts. The sister races, the Tri-State Sprints at Tuxedo Ridge in NY occuring back-to-back the first two weekends in June and the Tri-State Super returning to Mountain Creek the first weekend of November, are among the most popular in ocr. With three great weekends spread throughout the year, the Tri-State area provides an easy opportunity for racers to get their trifectas.
